A destination wedding with an unconventional elegance

Renato and Julien, an Italian-French couple based in New York, chose to celebrate and share their love in Tuscany, entrusting the creative direction of their Destination Wedding to Wedding Planner Benedetta Carpanzano.

At the enchanting Badia di Berardenga, just outside Siena, every detail was designed around the concept of unconventional elegance: a wedding free from conventions, shaped entirely by the couple’s personalities and the emotions they wished to share with their guests.

The bilingual ceremony and reception created a deeply personal narrative, blending Provençal-inspired atmospheres with evocations of the Tuscan countryside. Wildflowers, aromatic herbs, tables arranged in an original “caterpillar” formation, linen and wicker table settings, festoon lights and a family-style dinner transformed the reception into an intimate celebration of togetherness.

The experience was completed by two bespoke signature cocktails and a dessert table where the undisputed star was the wedding cake: a pavlova.
