A Modern Fairytale in a Medieval Village
Luigi and Rosa said “I do” in Calabria, at the Borgo del Convento di Petrizzi, a centuries-old monastic complex overlooking the Ionian Sea. They entrusted their love story to Wedding Planner Elena Bitonte and her team.
The ceremony took place among the ancient convent ruins, beneath a majestic stone arch overlooking the celebrated “roofless church”, adorned with floral arrangements in delicate shades of white and green that enhanced the timeless beauty of the architecture.
After exchanging their vows, guests gathered in the village cloister, transformed into an intimate, luminous setting by suspended lights and flickering candles. Long imperial tables, dressed with sage-green runners and botanical details, welcomed guests for a feast celebrating the authentic flavours of Calabrian tradition, reimagined with an elegant, contemporary touch.
